Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: 2026-06-25
FreelancerTax never sends or stores your calculator inputs on a server; all calculations run only in your browser.
However, advertising and analytics services such as Google AdSense may use cookies to collect non-personally-identifying information.
1. Information we collect and do not collect
FreelancerTax has no sign-up process and does not request or collect information that directly identifies an individual, such as name, contact details, or account numbers. Values you enter into the calculators — income, expenses, revenue, and so on — are used only within your browser, disappear automatically, and are never transmitted to or stored on the operator's server.
That said, the following information may be generated and collected automatically while you use the website.
- Access IP address, browser type and version, operating system, visit time
- Pages visited, referring page (referrer), device information
- Anonymous identifiers via cookies and similar technologies
2. Use of cookies
FreelancerTax may use cookies to provide the service and serve ads. A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser, used to remember visit history and settings.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your web browser settings. Note that blocking cookies may limit some features and ad personalization. Cookie settings can be changed in the settings menu of each browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.).
3. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
FreelancerTax serves ads through Google AdSense. Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies to provide personalized ads based on your prior visit history.
- Google uses advertising cookies (e.g. the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
- Cookie use by third-party advertising vendors can be reviewed and opted out of at www.aboutads.info.
- How Google handles data is described on the How Google uses data from sites that use its services page.
4. Analytics tools
To improve the service we may use web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. These tools use cookies to collect anonymized statistics such as pages visited and time on page, and do not identify a specific individual.
5. Retention and third-party provision
Because FreelancerTax does not directly collect or store your personal data, no separate retention period applies. Automatically collected access and cookie information is processed and retained under the policies of the relevant service providers, such as Google. Except as required by law, the operator does not sell or arbitrarily provide user information to third parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right to refuse data collection through your browser cookie settings, and you can disable personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. For inquiries about personal data processing, contact us at the address below.
7. Children's personal data
FreelancerTax does not primarily target children under 14 and does not knowingly collect children's personal data.
8. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be revised in line with legal or service changes, and any change will be announced on this page. When there is an important change, the effective date is updated.
9. Contact
For inquiries about personal data processing, contact truecodeko@gmail.com.
